Tauri Group Awarded Two Task Orders under OPETS

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 12, 2018 – The Tauri Group was recently awarded two task orders under the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) Omnibus Program Engineering and Technical Support (OPETS) Medical Domain.

The contract and task orders provide support services to the Department of Defense’s JPEO-CBD for production and fielding of chemical and biological defense materials. Task Order A award comes as a re-compete win, and provides Bioengineers and Scientists to support the JPEO-CBD Joint Project Manager (JPM) Medical Countermeasures Systems, JPM Protection, and JPM Guardian.

The second task order is new work for The Tauri Group and provides Non-Clinical Advisors, Process Advisors, and Regulatory Affairs Managers. These contract awards further Tauri’s support and role in providing solutions to the Warfighter.

The JPEO-CBD describes itself as “the life-cycle manager for Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) defense products for the military. We sustain the CBRN defense capabilities which we develop and produce so they are always ready to assist America’s Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen in detecting and protecting against CBRN threats, whenever and wherever they occur.”
